Ce cadran a \u00e9t\u00e9 consult\u00e9 par Jean Jacques Rousseau quand il est venu \u00e0 cet ancien h\u00f4tel des vins. Cet ancien h\u00f4tel date du 17e si\u00e8cle. Cadran poss\u00e9dant une ligne toutes les 30 minutes et dont le haut ressemble \u00e0 un rideau de th\u00e9atre. Le palais de justice abritait les rois au 14e siecle. Une horloge cot\u00e9 est fut d\u2019abord install\u00e9 en 1370 pour \u00e9viter l\u2019inexactitude des cadrans solaires. Il fut ensuite d\u00e9cid\u00e9 en 1900 de mettre un cadran solaire sur la nouvelle aile du palais de justice qui donne sur le quai des orf\u00e8vres.
