H\u00f4tel construit en 1330 par un abb\u00e9 de Cluny donnant des cours \u00e0 la Sorbonne. Cadran en forme de harpe indiquant chaque et ayant un soleil en son centre. Un autre cadran plat se trouve sur une de ses facades mais est r\u00e9cent. Facult\u00e9 construit en 1254 par De Sorbon. Une sc\u00e8ne au dessus du cadran solaire , montre Ph\u00e9bus dans son char. Les lignes indiquent l\u2019heure pour les demi heures. Le dessin en 8 permet de corriger le temps l\u00e9gal du temps donn\u00e9 par le soleil. Lyc\u00e9e construit en 1562 par des j\u00e9suites et par l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e8que de Clermont. Le lyc\u00e9e changea plusieurs fois de nom jusqu\u2019en 1848 o\u00f9 il pr\u00eet le nom d\u00e9finitif de Louis le Grand. Le lyc\u00e9e poss\u00e8de plusieurs cadrans superpos\u00e9s dont chacun a une utilisation diff\u00e9rente. L\u2019\u00e9glise \u00e9tait proche de Ste Genevi\u00e8ve avant que cette derni\u00e8re soit remplac\u00e9e par le Panth\u00e9on. La maison se trouve dans le jardin des plantes (m\u00e9dicinales). Ce jardin a ouvert en 1640. Une m\u00e9ridienne qui se trouvait dans ce parc a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis dans le mus\u00e9e des Arts et M\u00e9tiers. Cuvier a v\u00e9cu au jardin des Plantes pendant 40 ans au d\u00e9but du 19e si\u00e8cle. Ce magasin a chang\u00e9 plusieurs fois de propri\u00e9taire. La gravure repr\u00e9sente une t\u00eate de femme dont le haut ressemble \u00e0 une coquille St Jacques en allusion \u00e0 la rue et \u00e0 St Jacques de compostelle.
